The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) is a vendor-neutral foundation that promotes the adoption of cloud-native computing technologies and practices, such as containerization and microservices. Its mission is to make cloud-native computing ubiquitous by fostering a vibrant ecosystem of projects, events, and communities.
The Linux Foundation (LF) , on the other hand, is a non-profit organization that provides a neutral forum for collaboration and education on open-source technologies. It hosts several well-known open-source projects, including the Linux operating system, Kubernetes, and Hyperledger.
