Reliability, high availability and scalability are concepts, which become more and more important in many companies. The goal is to avoid system failures where possible and to enhance the functional range and performance of the software products by providing more resources. We accomplish this task by utilizing cluster technologies.

Active/Passive Clusters

In this field we offer low-cost cluster-solutions such as “Redhat Cluster Suite”, but also redundant solutions for every use such as shared storage or DRDB Replication.

Active/Hot Stand By Clusters

The constant availability of company-relevant applications can be secured with a failover. This means that a standby-system is constructed which takes over all actions of the primary system in case the latter fails for any reason. We offer the following solutions:

Clusters based on MySQL replication

high-speed and cost-efficient Software Load Balancers

Cluster Storage with GFS2, CLVM (Cluster Logical Volume Manager), OCFS2 or ACFS2 (Oracle ASM Cluster File System)

Batch Cluster with Batch Scheduling Systems (e.g. the open source solution Sun Grid Engine)

Active/Active Clusters

These are high-availability clusters, which also offer a high scalability. Only some of the solutions we offer are:

Cluster Replications over geographically spread data centers (e.g. for reasons of disaster recovery or to allocate data load) are no difficulty for us. We provide solutions, which allow data replication between different data centers as well as solutions, which permit switchovers between the data centers without putting the application or active customer processes at risk. We are also experienced in ““Zero-Downtime-Architectures”.
